Early Life
Ava Yaman was born on November 19, 2006, in İstanbul. She grew up in a creative environment. Her father, musician Ali Reşat Yaman, played an important role in this — it was he who passed on his love for music to his daughter. From an early age, Ava was surrounded by it. She plays the guitar and also sings her own songs.
Career
Ava Yaman appeared on television for the first time in 2023 in the series Bir Derdim Var, where she took on the role of Özge. Her character was a teenage girl dealing with bipolar disorder. The series itself was short-lived and was later taken off the air because of low ratings. Even so, Ava Yaman’s work stood out. Her scenes with actor Ata Artman drew attention from viewers and became one of the more talked-about elements of the project.
Her next role brought her much wider recognition. Ava Yaman played Eleni in the series Taşacak Bu Deniz, which premiered on the TRT1 channel in the autumn of 2025. This project became the one most closely associated with her name and earned her strong viewer support.
