Turkish actress Eylül Tumbar was born on August 19, 2002, in İzmir, into a family of a bartender and an artist. She studied at İzmir University of Economics, majoring in Film and Digital Media, but later interrupted her education due to a move to Istanbul.
Eylül Tumbar admits that becoming an actress was not a childhood dream. She originally planned to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she discovered an interest in acting, which marked the beginning of her path as an actress.
Despite a busy work schedule, Eylül Tumbar prefers an active lifestyle. She enjoys swimming and tries to spend her free time close to nature whenever possible. At the start of her acting career, Tumbar also attracted attention for her resemblance to Afra Saraçoğlu, a topic that was widely discussed on social media.
Career
Eylül Tumbar’s first professional acting work was in the series Biz Kimden Kaçıyorduk Anne?, produced for the digital platform Netflix. The actress went through a demanding casting process before being approved for one of the leading roles, having auditioned eight times before her candidacy was finally accepted by the platform’s management.
After the success of her debut, Eylül Tumbar, who played the character Bambi and shared leading roles with Melisa Sözen, was invited to star as the female lead in the summer series Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz, broadcast on the state television channel TRT1 in 2023. Tumbar portrayed the character Alize, with young actor Enes Koçak as her on-screen partner.
In 2024, Eylül Tumbar appeared on screen as Duru in the drama series Yalan, which aired on Kanal D.

During the filming of Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz, a close friendship developed between Eylül Tumbar and Enes Koçak. After the project ended, this friendship gradually turned into a romantic relationship.
