The team behind the series Çarpıntı has announced that the project is wrapping up. The show’s ratings dropped sharply over the past few weeks, bringing noticeable losses. Because of that, the numbers for Episode 12 were expected to decide the future of the drama. Once the new episode aired and the ratings stayed below what the producers had hoped for, the decision was made to end the series with Episode 13.
For the cast — Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Kerem Bürsin, Deniz Çakır and Lizge Cömert — the final episode hasn’t been shot yet. And because the work on it is still to come, viewers think there’s a chance the story could still end with a clear resolution, despite the early finish.
