Dark waters, deep secrets, and tangled family ties — Gözleri Karadeniz brings together an unforgettable cast of Turkey’s most talented actors. From Halit Özgür Sarı’s soulful Azil to Özge Yağız’s strong yet wounded Güneş, each character carries a storm within. Here’s a closer look at everyone who breathes life into this emotional Black Sea saga.

Azil Yılmaz (Halit Özgür Sarı)
Azil grew up in Rize, raised by Sabriye — whom he believed to be his mother — and Asiye, never realizing she was actually his grandmother. With no parents to guide him, he poured all his joys and sorrows into the sea, which is why he calls himself “the son of the sea.”

Güneş Aydınay (Özge Yağız)
Güneş is the child of a great love story. She lost both of her parents in a tragic car accident involving her brother Yunus. Afterward, their aunt Nermin took them in and raised Güneş as her own daughter. She studied hard, became a young lawyer, stepped into the role of mother for Yunus, became Mehmet’s sweetheart and Nermin’s dream daughter-in-law — but in the process, she never managed to become her true self.

Osman Maçari (Mehmet Özgür)
Osman is the only son of Asiye and Lütfü. When Lütfü abandoned his wife for an affair with Gülfem — the sister-in-law of his business partner in Istanbul — his rare visits to Osman only unsettled the boy further. Over time, this shaped Osman into the kind of man his mother had hoped he would never become.

Asiye Maçari (Ayten Uncuoğlu)
Asiye was married off by her parents to the son of their close friends. She never truly loved her husband Lütfü, but like a true Black Sea woman, she devoted herself to her husband and their only child, Osman. For a while, life seemed stable — until Lütfü became infatuated with another woman, Gülfem, the sister-in-law of his business partner Muzaffer.

Mehmet Maçari (Mustafa Açılan)
Mehmet was always the apple of his mother’s eye, the one who got all her affection. His relationship with Osman’s father was distant, at best. Mehmet grew up side by side with Güneş, and although it was never spoken out loud, everyone assumed the two would one day marry.

Fatoş Maçari (Türkü Su Demirel)
Fatoş is the only daughter of Osman and Nermin, and Mehmet’s younger sister. She adores her father, but her relationship with her mother is strained. Watching Nermin devote all her love and attention to her brother, Fatoş developed a defense mechanism — she mocks and dismisses everything around her. With everyone else in the family, though, she gets along effortlessly.

Dursun Yılmaz (Eren Ören)
Dursun is Sabriye’s son. Though not related by blood, he has always considered Azil his brother. Despite being older, he often felt like the younger one whenever they were together. Since childhood, they’ve shared everything: school, fights, and walking through life shoulder to shoulder.

Nermin Maçari (Yonca Şahinbaş)
Nermin was born in a small town beyond the Black Sea mountains. When her family moved to Rize, she finished school and high school there. Together with her sister Nilgün, she never stopped dreaming of moving to Istanbul and becoming part of the capital city.

Sado (Erol Babaoğlu)
Known throughout the region, Sado caught the eye of Nermin’s father, Muzaffer. Over time, he became the right hand of the family. Loyal to the core, he would carry out any task they asked of him, without hesitation or questions.

Havva Kırkayvaz (Ebru Aykaç)
Havva is the daughter of Lütfü and Gülfem, making her Osman’s half-sister. She grew up watching everything her father did, for better or worse. Havva developed feelings for Sado, who was a frequent presence in their home as Muzaffer’s trusted associate.

Haki Çakaroğlu (Onur Özaydın)
Haki is the middle child of Muzaffer and Emine, the brother of Nermin and Nilgün. After their parents died, he moved into Nermin’s home, seeking protection from his brother-in-law Osman. Thanks to his sharp mathematical mind and knack for handling finances, Haki carved out a powerful role in the family business.

Ayla Çakaroğlu (Gizem Arıkan)
Ayla grew up in a poor neighborhood, her head filled with glossy magazine dreams of wealth. When Yunus needed constant care, she tricked a doctor and managed to secure a job in the Maçari household. At first she tried to seduce Mehmet, but when that failed, she turned her attention to Haki.

Kınalı (Osman Albayrak)
Kınalı lost his family in a fire. He survived but was left with a scar on his hand, which gave him the nickname “Kınalı” (“the marked one”). He met Osman in prison, and from that day on, the two became inseparable best friends.

Sancar Eskier (Berk Ali Çatal)
Sancar is Mehmet Maçari’s right-hand man — assistant, trainer, driver, and confidant. The son of a distant relative of the Maçari family, he was orphaned young. From childhood, he was tasked with following Mehmet everywhere and protecting him. Despite their apparent closeness, the family never let him forget that he was not truly one of them.

Yunus Aydınay (Özgür Çınar Deveci)
Yunus is Güneş’s younger brother, who lost both parents in the same tragic accident. For him, Güneş became a mother figure, while he looked up to Mehmet as both an older brother and father. After Yunus received a kidney transplant from Mehmet, it was as if he inherited part of his personality — he began speaking and acting just like him.
