Özgü Namal, the lead actress of the series Kıskanmak, was involved in a car accident and narrowly escaped death. The actress was on her way to the set with her two children, whose school was closed on the day of the incident. While driving through the Beykoz district, another vehicle crashed into the car operated by her driver.
Thanks to their seat belts and the activation of the airbags, Özgü Namal, her children, and the driver survived with only minor injuries. An ambulance came soon after the crash and took Namal to the hospital. She is currently undergoing medical examinations together with her children as well as her driver.
The actress’s car was left completely unusable. Namal is expected to take a two-day break from filming.
