Uzak Şehir Episode 12 Summary

4 Min Read

Sadakat finally reveals her biggest secret to Cihan, and the truth shakes the household from the inside. When Şahin learns that Sadakat tried to kill his father, he comes to the mansion and erupts into a scandal.

Nare, who witnesses their clash, takes Şahin’s side. But Cihan stops his sister, cutting off her attempt to defend Şahin, and for the first time Nare feels truly disappointed in her brother.

In the middle of this chaos, Alya decides to use the moment and takes the step everyone expected and Cihan feared. She buys a ticket abroad and starts preparing to run.

Meanwhile, Cihan tries to untangle at least one conflict without bloodshed. He finds Zeynep’s boyfriend, tells Zeynep he knows about their relationship, and promises to help them with a wedding and a home, just to stop Sadakat from using Zeynep as a tool again.

At the same time, Erol brings Cihan security-camera footage tied to Kaya’s case: the sound of a gunshot can be heard. A motorcyclist appears on the recording, with a camera mounted on his helmet, and Cihan realizes this could be the key to saving his brother. They start searching for the man.

Old wounds surface inside the family. Alya asks Nare about the hair clip found in Cihan’s room. Nare admits Cihan once gave it to her. Then she speaks about Sheyda, who loved Cihan but never got his feelings in return, and the story ended in tragedy.

Alya points out that Cihan never told Demir that Sheyda fell for him. When Alya asks him directly, Cihan says Demir has already endured enough, and he is not going to hit him with that truth.

Kaya’s trial begins. Zerrin testifies against him, and the lawyer immediately points out that the girl is under pressure from the family. When it seems there is no way out, Cihan manages to get video evidence from that same motorcyclist, and the recording is brought to court. It changes the course of the case. Kaya is released.

The next day, Alya and Cihan go to Zeynep’s wedding. And it is there that Alya decides she cannot wait any longer. She no longer sees Cihan only as a tyrant, but she still does not believe this house has a future for her. She tells her son they need to leave for New York, without explaining the whole truth. Deniz asks Alya to let Cihan come with them, but Alya says they have to go alone, just the two of them. Then she does what she has been planning for a long time: she leaves the wedding and races to the airport with her son.

Cihan keeps track of the situation and comes there to see what decision Alya will make. Will Alya actually manage to fly out, or will Cihan stop her right at the airport? And if Alya has become his weak spot, will he be able to hold on to her without turning love into yet another cage?
