Uzak Şehir Episode 21 Summary

4 Min Read

At the last second, Cihan manages to drag Deniz out of the water. The family can finally breathe again. Deniz is alive, and that is all that matters. Alya and Cihan rush him to the hospital, but after the examination the doctor reassures them: Deniz is fine. He is shaken, but he will be okay. What happened becomes a turning point for their family.

Later, Deniz asks Alya if he can call Cihan “Dad.” Cihan tells Alya the one thing she needs to hear more than any promise: Deniz may not be his biological son, but he will see him as his own, and he will do whatever it takes to keep him safe. That night, at Deniz’s request, the three of them fall asleep in the same bed for the first time.

But peace in the mansion does not last. Sadakat is determined to find Uğur, and little by little it becomes clear her goal is far harsher than a simple conversation.

Because Fikriye refuses to continue treatment and wants to leave, Alya and Cihan decide to bring her into the mansion so they can be sure she is under supervision. Fikriye agrees happily. With her arrival, a new war begins inside the house: Fikriye and Sadakat clash head-on, each of them fighting for the right to be Deniz’s main grandmother. Against the backdrop of these family storms, Cihan is also under pressure over business: his share of the market shrinks after he handed land over to Şahin.

Nare prepares to divorce Özkan and more and more openly goes against her mother’s will. Sadakat cannot accept it. When Nare says she will choose her own path, her mother slaps her. But the blow does not stop Nare. If anything, it hardens her decision to leave the house and live on her own terms.

Meanwhile, Demir sets a trap for Zerrin and Kaya. Kaya takes it hard, and the tension between them only grows.

Another conflict erupts around Deniz. Sadakat learns Alya never had the boy circumcised, and she immediately takes control of the preparations, naming the day and deciding everything without Alya. At the same time, Mine is thrilled by the news of her pregnancy, counting on it not only to keep Cihan close, but to marry him herself.

Through Fikriye, Alya learns that Sadakat is planning to kill Uğur. Alya tries to help Uğur, but everything spins out of control. At the last moment, he manages to escape. Nare asks Alya to help her see Şahin. Alya sets up the meeting, but Sadakat soon finds out, and it promises a new storm. To prevent her daughter from growing closer to Şahin, Sadakat, having made a deal with Özkan and promised him the influence of her family name in exchange for continuing the marriage, has Nare taken away by force.

The day of Deniz’s circumcision arrives. For the first time in a long while, Alya and Cihan finally breathe out. And just when it feels like nothing can disrupt the harmony that has settled between them, Mine appears. Will Mine tell Cihan about the pregnancy right now, in front of Alya, or will she keep that news as leverage for later?
