A cast change has occurred in the series “Kızılcık Şerbeti”. Following the news that Settar Tanrıöğen, who suffered a brain hemorrhage a month ago, would need more extended treatment than initially anticipated by medical professionals, the production company Gold Film, in collaboration with Show TV, faced a tough and risky decision – to replace the actor. Starting from episode 53, the role of Abdullah Ünal will be portrayed by actor Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan.

Our valued actor Settar Tanrıöğen, who played the role of Abdullah Ünal in the popular series “Kızılcık Şerbeti” produced by Gold Film for Show TV, continues his treatment in the hospital following a brain hemorrhage.
From the doctors, we have learned that our actor’s recovery period will extend for some time. On behalf of the entire team at Gold Film and Show TV, we would like to thank Settar Tanrıöğen for his talent and contribution to our series, and wish him a speedy recovery.
Starting from episode 53, the role of Abdullah Ünal will be taken over by another talented actor, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan.
It was previously known that the actor’s recovery was progressing much slower than the medical predictions. Settar Tanrıöğen, who underwent two consecutive surgeries, faced unpleasant consequences of the illness, such as short-term memory lapses.
As the treating doctors no longer risk making any predictions regarding the timeline for the actor’s full recovery, the production company, in collaboration with the channel, decided to find a new actor for the role of Apo.
