Star TV channel announced the release of its new project “Yandaki Oda” and shared the first teaser of the series.
The script for the new series by OGM Pictures was written by Mehmet Barış Günger, familiar to viewers from his work on the series “Yalı Çapkını”. The plot is based on an astonishing story adapted from the real-life cases of psychiatrist Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, whom viewers may also know from series such as “Yalı Çapkını”, “Kırmızı Oda”, “Masumlar Apartmanı”, “İstanbullu Gelin”, and others.
In “Yandaki Oda”, the events kick off with the sudden marriage of the country’s leading businessman Fikret Alabey and a TV show host whose career is on the decline, Sevgi Ersoy. This unexpected marriage shocks everyone.
Both Sevgi and Fikret have had unhappy marriages in the past. The couple, who now want to live their second spring, will find it not so easy to realize their dream. After they get married, their different families are forced to live under one roof.
The fact that these two diametrically opposed families start living within the walls of the same house will create more problems than Fikret and Sevgi could have imagined. These events will change the lives of all family members, especially their children, Taylan and Şelale, who now have to live in adjacent rooms…
